Mio Moov 380 which we announced beginning of this month apparently just cleared FCC regulations meaning it will be hitting the store shelves in the U.S. pretty soon.According to Mio, connection speeds are 2.75G and 3G. Digitalcube of Korea just announced a new GPS navigation system called i-station U7.i-station U7 can sense the incline of the road you’re driving on and also can help you be more fuel efficient by commenting on your driving style - which could get really annoying really fast As far as hardware there’s a 7″ screen with 800×480 resolution, receiver for digital TV channels, and 4GB onboard flash memory. Expected to be available in Korea next month for about 398,000KRW ($382)

Dash is announcing today its first proper software update to the Dash Express. Dubbed June08 (or v2.1), users now get three new trademarked names (among other things):

• FasterFind - uses SiRFInstantFix for acquiring GPS during startup, so your Dash Express is aware of its location much faster than before.
• MyRoute - your Dash Express learns your routes to common destinations and offers them up in comparison to its recommended routes (so you can see if your usual way really is faster).
• Search Along Route - pretty much what it says. Allows you to find points of interest en route without gumming up your destinations. This seems like the most useful new feature, behind the faster acquisition time.
• Road closure support - another self explanatory addition. If the Dash finds out a road is closed through Inrix or another means, it will completely black it out of your routes.
• Performance and UI enhancements - We gave it a short test, and things really did seem a bit snappier and cleaner looking. Icons are better polished, arranged, and rendered, and simple stuff like navigating menus or switching between 2D and 3D views is quicker.

GTV-580 is the latest GPS navigation system from GlobalSat. The TomTom Rider is a solid navigation system for motorcyclists, with good Bluetooth integration, but we recommend swapping out the included Bluetooth headset for a higher-quality one.

Garmin Nuvi 880, the top of the line GPS navigation system from Garmin is now available for pre-order on Amazon for $999.

Nokia introduced today the slide-to-open Nokia E66 which includes Microsoft Exchange targeting business users. It will be available in July for about 350 €.

Nokia E66 supports HSDPA networks, can connect to wireless LAN, and of course 3G as well. It comes with A-GPS receiver to make use of Nokia Maps for navigation. There’s also the music player that can use up to 8GB of space thanks to expandable memory and a 3.2MP digital camera.

To make Nokia E66 even more enticing for business users Nokia also threw in built-in encryption functionality for both the device memory and for the memory card. Nokia E66 also include integrated mobile VPN support that gives mobile professionals access to their company intranet.

Motoming A1800 is now available in China, according to some reports. As we earlier noted, it will be a stylus-based touchscreen smartphone with built-in GPS. It’s not much of a looker, though, so we can’t exactly say that its a sight for sore eyes.

Others specs include a 3MP camera with autofocus, 2.4″ screen with 240×320 display resolution, and a 1000mAh battery. It doesn’t have 3G or Wi-Fi like most other new phones so you can expect to see a low price tag on the A1800. However according to reports you will still get an integrated GPS receiver.

TG Sambo announced the launch of its low-price navigation device ‘E1′ in Korea market, which is available for around 200,000(KRW).

Adopting a 7-inch LCD and 400MHZ CPU, the TG Sambo E1 supports mp3 player, video playback, photo viewer, FM radio and games.

Homecast has released its slim navigation PMP device ‘Tvus HM960′ in Korea market. Featuring 16.5mm thickness and 195g weight, the HM960 is equipped with NAND flash memory instead of a hard disk.Adopting a 4.3-inch wide touch screen and M&Soft’s Mappy software, the Tvus HM960 supports T-DMB, video playback and electronic dictionary function.
