Clarion prepare to launch its portable navigation device ‘ClarionMiND’ running on Atom processor and Linux OS.
Adopting a 4.8-inch touch screen with 800*480 resolution, the ClarionMiND supports full browser, 4GB of flash memory, wireless LAN, Bluetooth, Google Map, YouTube, and Real Player.
The ClarionMiND is expected to be available in North America in this November and in Europe market in January, 2009.
Pioneer has rolled out not one but four new GPS navigation gadgets this week. Known as the HRZ099, HRZ088, HRV022, and HRV011, these gadgets share the same specifications including 40GB storage capacity, 1Seg TV, 7-Inch LCD Screen and can play WMA, MP3, AAC, and DivX file formats. These navigation systems are also compatible with the iPods. The Pioneer HRZ099 is the High-End model that comes equipped with a resolution of 800 x 480. Meanwhile, the Pioneer HRZ099 and HRZ088 are also equipped with a built-in Amplifier that produces a maximum output of 50W x 4ch.
The company JJ-Group has released for sale its first avtonavigator with the possibility of receiving and analyzing information on traffic jams - JJ-Connect Autonavigator 4000W Traffic. In this avtonavigator already built GPRS-receiver, and users now do not need to use multiple devaysov to be aware of the busy roads. JJ-Connect Autonavigator 4000W Traffic receives information about traffic jams, automatically opened the tour route, choosing the optimal time and mileage way.

Garmin is now offering the special edition Garmin Edge 705 GPS Navigation System for a limited time only. This navigation gadget comes jam packed with a heart-rate monitor, speed/cadence sensor and detailed street maps with turn-by-turn directions and lots of POIs. You can pick up the vanilla Edge 705 for $500.
Navevo announced BBNav, a Blue Badge GPS navigation system, specifically designed to help disabled drivers and those caring for the disabled, such as their families or carers. The specialty of the software is mostly is in its POI database which contains suitable parking locations and other helpful locations for Blue Badge holders.

Kinwei Technologies of Shenzen is a GPS navigation system manufacturer. Revealed the KW-GM4306TG. KW-GM4306TG is a GPS navigation system and a gaming console in one device. Nothing like a PSP though.
The device has a 4.3-inch TFT LCD Touch screen with 480 x 272 pixels resolution, and is powered by a Samsung ARM9 400MHz processor. Microsoft Windows CE.NET 4.2 is the operating system and comes with a controller for the games. Inside there’s a 64MB SDRAM ROM and 256MB NAND flash, and a high sensitive SiRF III antenna with 20 channels.

Shenzen Power Century in 2007 was launched a new series of GPS models, one of which include the NPC-L507. NPC-L507 were exported all over the globe but apparently no takers here in the U.S. just yet. This GPS navigation system has a 4.3″ touch screen and is powered with Centrality Atlas-III 372MHZ CPU. It is quite light weight as it only weighs 150g and measures 119mmx78.5mmx15mm.
NPC-L507 offers some intermediate level GPS functions with some basic multimedia player capabilities. It supports various video format likes WMV, MPEG, avi, asf and 3GP, and the audio player supports WMA, MP3 and WAV file formats. There’s also the photo viewer.
