GPS Toyota does not work.?
2008 Prius. Several people beside myself have tried unsuccessfully to make GPS work. Sometimes yes, sometimes not. employee of one concession made addresses. Recently, when I went to the dealer a month ago, a seller has been unable find their address and was unable to put in (GPS said address, (the dealership with less) did not exist. This thing cost at least 1000 and I am afraid they r going to try to pin the problem to me if possible. Ideas? A thought I had is what if they sent me instructions for the system wrong? Someone at Toyota told me they had four different GPS systems that could be used in their cars. Is this true and if yes how do I know which system and what are the instructions I have? Thank you for any information.
They should be able to remove and reinstall the software on your GPS device. And if not, it should be under some type of guarantee.
