Should I telephone to Internet to use GPS?
I have a phone called the Pharos 619 that has an A-GPS and autonomous I I wonder if Google Maps download I need an Internet connection to work she can work off the GPS. thank you
For googlemaps you need an Internet connection to download the tile map. But if you can buy applications as GarminXT or Route 66 along with maps for your region you do not need an active Internet connection that cards are stored in your device. I use a smartphone Nokia 5800. It was installed with Nokia Maps map data for my area. So I do not need an active Internet connection. I just need to update the maps from time to time as I do in my PC.
