UK Satnav issues (Garmin and TomTom)?
My TomTom 520 died about a year after I had and I had many problems with it throughout this year, especially if I downloaded the latest software. TomTom support has been terribly wrong. So now I am looking for a new Sat Nav. Should I avoid TomTom? The review sites give their products a good bet, but user comments Real have repeatedly complained about defective products and poor support. One alternative that I see is the Garmin Nuvi 1310. It looks good but does it all functionality provided by TomTom? In particular, can I change the route, directing them to avoid particular roads and cities? Thank you for your thoughts.
I had loads of problems with Tom Tom too so you should try the Garmin I think.
