Is that all SD cards work with a Magellan GPS?
I have an Explorist 400 and it just says unlimited scalability SD … but when I released the Magellan SD card and put a 1 Gb a regular (not brand Magellan) will not detect it. Is this a scam by Magellan to ensure purchase SD cards from them? Or are they cards somehow different? Or do I need to format in the GPS for the preparation use with the system.
